Oceanographic research ship "Zhang Jian" berths at Luchao Port, east China's Shanghai Municipality, July 11, 2016. The ship left Luchao Port on July 12 for its first voyage to Papua New Guinea and its nearby seas for a research expedition. The ship is 97 meters long and 17.8 meters wide, with a displacement of about 4,800 tons and a cruising speed of 12 knots.
