Pilot spends New Year in air

As a 53-year-old senior pilot captain, Yu Zhenlong can't remember how many times he has spent Spring Festival alone in the cabinet in the high altitude in the past 20 years.

"The time around Spring Festival holiday is the busiest season, for planes too. During the past holiday, I have maintained the same working hours. If I get additional tasks, then there is even less time for me to stay with my family," Yu said.

Yu has flown for more than 19,200 hours in his 20 years as a pilot.I In 2015 alone he flew 950 hours.
