At 4:58 pm on March 24, 2014 on Tianchen Road of Sha District, a man tried to commit suicide from an overpass, hanging on the railings. The police officers were holding him tightly when their chief officer ordered his colleagues to drag him over the rail at the same time, rescuing him. The man who tried to commit suicide was from Guizhou province and said he was trying to kill himself because he failed to find a job in Chongqing.[Photo/CFP] |
