The China Arbitration Summit was held in Beijing on Friday, hosted by China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission.

It is the 20th anniversary since the Arbitration Law was put into practice in China. So far, the number of arbitration agencies in China has reached 235, including the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission and China Maritime Arbitration Commission.

By the end of 2014, the cases accepted annually by arbitration institutions nationwide increased from the thousands in 1995 to more than 110,000. The value attached to these cases grew from billions of yuan in 1995 to 260 billion yuan annually.
