Premier Li Keqiang met with visiting French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius on Thursday after attending the celebrations of the 70 anniversary of the end of World War II and the victory of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression (1937-45).

China has reached wide consensus with France in areas including civil nuclear, aviation, and finance during Li's recent visit to France, and both sides have agreed to make the Paris climate summit fruitful, Li said.

China would like to work with France to implement the consensus, and promote the current China-France relationship to make more progress, Li added.

Li said that the cooperation of a third-party market is an innovative practice to promote practical cooperation between China and France, and such practice should become an example for the cooperation between south and north countries.

Fabius said that the two countries have worked together in dealing with climate change and nuclear cooperation, and the cooperation of third-party market has made a good start.

France would like to keep close contact with China, implement the consensus, and make more progress in the cooperation.
