An Asian elephant baby hides between the massive legs of her mother, Jigu, at Chimelong Safari Park in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, on Monday. It was the baby elephant's first public appearance. After about 20 months of pregnancy, 28-year-old Jigu gave birth on May 30.[Qiu Quanlin/China Daily] |
