Replicas of gifts given by China to APEC leaders at last week's meeting went on sale in Beijing on Tuesday. The souvenirs are a cloisonné vase Chinese President Xi Jinping presented to the other leaders, an exquisite handbag and a fruit plate and silver silk scarf first lady Peng Liyuan gave to leaders' wives.

The cloisonné vase and the handbag each cost 39,800 yuan ($6,500) and the fruit plate is 99,800 yuan ($16,300).

Both the original gifts and replicas are products of the Beijing Gongmei Group, a state-owned company specializing in the design and production of Chinese arts, handicrafts, carpets, jade and jewelry.

The items are available from Gongmei's stores in Beijing and its online shop, each with a limit of 8,000.
