SHANGHAI - The boss of Shanghai Municipal Electric Power Company is under a graft probe, said a municipal discipline watchdog on Wednesday.

Feng Jun, general manager of State Grid Shanghai Municipal Electric Power Company, is being investigated for suspected serious violations of discipline and law, said the Shanghai Discipline Inspection Commission of the Communist Party of China.

Feng is also deputy secretary of the company's Party committee and a national lawmaker.
