A flag-raising ceremony is launched with more than 500 students in attendance at the playground of a migrant primary school in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shannxi province, at the beginning of new semester on Sept 1, 2014. The privately-funded school is tucked away in a market. Such schools provide the children of some migrant workers with an opportunity to study in the city where their parents work.
