A 2-year-old girl in Funan, Anhui province, miraculously survived when she fell from a balcony on the 6th floor of a residential building, Anhui Commercial Daily reported on Wednesday.

The girl suffered fractures, lung contusion and skin injuries but is out of danger after a week's treatment, the report said.

According to the girl's grandma, she took the girl to visit a relative's new apartment that was not completed and had no railing on the balcony. The girl fell from the balcony while her grandparents were talking to the relative and was quickly taken to a hospital. Doctors said the girl was seriously injured, but survived as she fell onto soft ground.
