A total 18 bridges on the Lianyungang-Korgas expressway in Sanmenxia city, Henan province are blown up in one day on Aug 9, 2013. The 18 bridges across the highway (12 in Sanmenxia city, 6 in Luoyang city) set a record for the highest number of bridges blown up in one day in China's history of expressway construction and possibly the world.
