The Huashang Daily in Shaanxi province reports electric bicycles capable of running at a speed between 20 and 50 km per hour and heavier than 40 kg will be identified as light motorcycle and have to obey the traffic rules for vehicles. The new rule means people need a license to drive such electric bicycles and are prohibited from driving after drinking. |
