A former?high-ranking provincial official was sentenced to death with two years'?reprieve by the Tianjin?No 1?Intermediate People's Court on Friday.
Mi Fengjun, the former vice chairman of the Standing Committee of?People's Congress of Jilin Province, was?convicted of embezzling 6.28 million yuan (US$919,392). All his personal properties have been confiscated.
