Unseasonable but true: Seagulls refuse to fly south

Hundreds of seagulls have been spotted on the Huludao coast in Liaoning province, even though they usually migrate south to find warmth this time of the year.
According to experts, the birds are continuing to stay around the frozen water due to the improved environment and a variety of foods that are available to them in the coldest of days.
Some wild ducks have also gathered around the sea to rustle up food.
