78,000 yuan paid for reporting porn websites

China's government rewarded 78,000 yuan ($11,423) to 59 people who reported pornographic websites, china.com.cn reported.

Altogether, 61,982 pornographic websites were reported between December 4, 2009, and January 4, and 58,614 have been recorded. People can log on to www.shdf.gov.cn to report illegal websites. The highest award is 10,000 yuan ($1,464).
