Woman may lose toes as rings refuse to come off

A woman in Xi'an, capital of Shaanxi province, may have to have two of her toes amputated if the rings that she wears on them are not removed soon.
The 29-year-old woman, surnamed Li, said she tried on the toe rings just for fun, but two days later could not take them off.
Doctors said Li's toes were too swollen and if the rings were not removed soon they would have to cut off her toes to prevent the pus from spreading.
