Weak ceiling has family wearing helmets at home

Members of a family in Haikou, capital of Hainan province, are forced to wear helmets inside their home to avoid chunks of their rather weak ceiling falling on their heads.
The owner of the apartment, located in the city's Xiuying road, said his son's left arm was injured when a chunk of the ceiling in his bedroom fell down while he was asleep last Thursday.
Wang said he has complained to the property developer and relevant departments, who have asked him to be patient till maintenance staff fixes their ceiling.
