Ningxia vice governor suspected of disciplinary violation

Li Tangtang, vice governor of Ningxia Hui autonomous region has been confirmed by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection to be suspected of serious disciplinary violations and undergoing an investigation, Xinhuanet reported.

The 55-year-old official took position as vice governor on May 30 last year. Before that, he was vice governor of Shaanxi province. He was previously given a Party warning in January 2007 for attempting to manipulate an election for the Shaanxi Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China.
