Updated: 2009-07-30 16:27 HONG KONG: Taiwan stocks fell 0.8 percent to close at 7,027.11 on Thursday, according to information reaching here from Taipei. The weighted index went down 56.52 points after trading between 7,068.43 and 6,944.50 on a turnover of 145.84 billion New Taiwan dollars ($4.44 billion). Losers outnumbered gainers by 1,637 to 701 with 151 stocks unchanged. |
