Man divorces wife for stealing from him

Updated: 2009-07-29 08:51 A Beijing court last week accepted a man's plea to divorce his wife, a compulsive thief, on the grounds that she stole from him frequently. The man married the woman a year after she did her time for theft, hoping she would turn a new leaf. A year later, the woman was back in prison for stealing from her husband. A court in Mentougou, Beijing, showed no reluctance while giving its nod for a divorce. (Beijing Times) |
