Bank customer steals cell phone and forgets his cash

Updated: 2009-06-15 08:48 A bank customer grabbed someone's cell phone that was resting on the counter and left his 10,000 yuan ($1,462) behind on Tuesday. The cell phone owner called police who identified the thief as a man surnamed Liu the bank's surveillance video. After Liu returned to the bank in Tianjin municipality to find his money, police were waiting for him. He was reprimanded and let go. (Daily Update) |
