Yunnan develops bio-industry

Yunnan Bio-Industry Conference was held in Kunming, capital of southwest China’s Yunnan province on Thursday.

For many years, Yunnan has successfully developed products of biological resources, such as “Yunnan’s tea”,” Yunnan’s flower”,” Yunnan’s vegetable”,” Yunnan’s medicine”, “Yunnan’s fruit”, sugar, and rubber.

According to Yunnan Governor Qin Guangrong, the output of tobacco, flower, coffee, walnut, wild edible fungus ranked first in the country. Yunnan has nine "China Well-known Trademarks", which come from the field of bio-industry. Half of the "well-known trademarks in Yunnan Province" come from the bio-industries.
