An airport official told Xinhua BCIA has taken measures in response to passenger complaints of inconveniences occurred in Terminal 3 when taking taxis, especially at night, when taxis were insufficient.

Beijing Municipal Committee of Communications has set up a response system and an emergency plan, which would ensure stable taxi supply at the airport during peak hours at night.

A new optimized plan for taxi arrangements would be launched on April 8 in BCIA, which reduced the distance for taxis to get into the Terminal 3 from 5 kilometers to 500 meters.

The airport also added two new waiting paths for passengers, and has increased about 100 seats and 8 drinking water machines at the waiting area.
