Bus driver pulls brake to grab 10-yuan bill

Updated: 2009-02-09 09:13 A bus driver was so thrilled to see a 10-yuan note on the street, that he pulled the emergency brake, which caused passengers to tumble out of their seats. The driver saw the 10-yuan ($1.46) bill in Haikou, capital of Hainan province, when his bus arrived in the city's busy Jinmaoxi road late last month. The passengers realized what had unfolded when the driver returned to his bus several minutes later. No injuries were reported. (www.hinews.cn) |
