One of the five mummies excavated from a pit lies at a construction site in Shanshan County near Huoyanshan, or the Flaming Mountain in Turpan, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region January 6, 2009. The five well preserved bodies were confirmed by archeologists to be Han ethnic men living in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911AD). [CFP]
