Tai Shan, a giant panda at the Smithsonian National Zoo, celebrates his third birthday July 9, 2008, with a special fruitcicle made of water and gelatin in the shape of the numeral 3. Tai Shan is the first surviving panda cub born at the National Zoo in its 119-year history, and lives at the National Zoo Fujifilm Giant Panda Habitat with his parents Mei Xiang and Tian Tian.
