New parents kept awake by snoring newborn

Updated: 2008-06-18 19:29 A 3-month-old baby boy from the Tianjin municipality kept his parents awake each night - not only by crying, but also by snoring. He began to snore soon after he was born. Days later, he was able to snore as loud as an adult. "He kept snoring like that even after I helped him change his sleeping posture," his anxious mother said. The parents took the baby to a hospital, where doctors found that his condition was indeed unusual. "He is the youngest patient having such a breathing problem I've ever seen in the city," a doctor told the parents. He advised them that the child would probably require surgery later.
