They were selected from 86 couples who participated in a romance activity the company organized. They couple both live near the Tseung Kwan O station, and the groom, arranging "chance" meetings with the girl he loves, went to the station early every day. Before he appeared with a ring proposing marriage, he asked 10 metro passengers to give flowers to his girlfriend. The MTR said passengers requesting a metro wedding could write to the company.
