Man beaten over unwanted call girl

A man was given a thrashing at an inn near the Kunming Railway Station last
Friday after he refused service from a call girl that was arranged for by the
boss of the lodging house.
Although he refused the girl, whom the boss had called to his room, he was
told to pay a so-called service charge. He refused again and was badly beaten by
several husky fellows who worked for the inn. His ID card and luggage were also
detained.
The case is under investigation after the man, surnamed Zhang, reported it to
local police.
