City wants credit for very long dragon

Updated: 2006-09-05 08:48 Organizers of Zhanjiang Tourism and Culture Festival plan to seek a new Guinness World Record for its super long dragon in this port city on Guangdong's Leizhou Peninsula. The dragon, 418 metres long, is believed to be the longest in the world. The dragon will be used to perform a special dragon dance during the festival, which will take place between October 1 and 6.
