Man has ear cut during haircut

Staff from a beauty salon had to pool money totalling 3,000 yuan (US$375) to compensate a man whose ear was injured while he was getting a haircut in Shenzhen on Thursday.
Zhang's right ear bled after he was hurt by the shears. He was rushed to hospital, where doctors had to stitch up the wound for him.
Afterward, Zhang returned to the beauty salon to seek compensation.
With the help and co-ordination of local police, the beauty salon had to agree to pay compensation because Zhang's suffering was a result of the salon's mistake.
