Doctors confounded by girl's mosquito allergy

A 12-year-old girl in Qingdao of Shandong Province has to wear long-sleeved clothes and a veil all day and night to protect her from mosquitoes, because she is highly allergic to their bites.
Wei's mother said that, years ago, she found her daughter's body would swell after being bit by mosquitoes; the wound would gradually become rotten and the girl would suffer from high fever due to infections. The girl has visited many doctors, but none could cure her.
Doctors said they had never met such a patient before and were seeking international help through the Internet.
