The president of China Construction Bank Corp. , Chang Zhenming, will move to China's state-owned Citic Group, the bank said on Monday.

Chang will become chairman of Citic, the China Securities Journal said, although the bank did not give his future title.

Chang, who was also vice chairman of the board and executive director of the bank, has already tendered his resignation, effective once a successor is appointed, Construction Bank's chairman, Guo Shuqing, said in a statement to the Hong Kong stock exchange, carried in papers on Monday.
