Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao has left here for home on Saturday afternoon at the end of his two-day official visit to Uganda.

The two governments signed six agreements and issued a 10-point joint communique on Friday after Wen Jiabao held talks with Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni at the State House in Kampala.

The two sides agreed to keep high-level contacts to boost mutual political trust, deepen business cooperation, strengthen coordination in the multilateral arena and further develop the friendly relations and cooperation between China and Uganda.

The Chinese premier extended an invitation from Chinese President Hu Jintao to President Museveni to attend the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation due to be held later this year. President Museveni accepted the invitation with pleasure.

Wen also held talks with Ugandan Prime Minister Apolo Nsibambi earlier in the day, who held the departure ceremony at the Entebbe airport for Wen.

Uganda is the last leg of Wen's eight-day Africa tour starting from June 17. Wen visited Tanzania before he came to Uganda after touring Egypt, Ghana, the Republic of the Congo, Angola and South Africa.
