Madonna takes tot to see her ill dad

Madonna is taking newly-adopted David Banda to the US to visit her father who is suffering from cancer.The pop star is taking the Malawian youngster, along with her children Rocco and Lourdes, to see grandad Tony Ciccone at a hospital in Michigan.
He has been undergoing chemotherapy after having surgery for colon cancer. The Sun has been told the treatment is going well.
“Madonna is keen to introduce David to his grandad — although the circumstances are less than ideal," revealed a family friend. "He has been diagnosed with colon cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy.
“But at the moment the prognosis from the doctors is as good as can be expected.
“It is just a shame that the family are going through this secret sadness when it should be a joyful time with the new baby."
