Now that he's hit the singles scene, Matthew McConaughey is ready to start dating once again, and he has apparently set his sight on actress Jennifer Aniston.

A source revealed that McConaughey had called up the former 'Friends' star and asked her out on a date.

However, she turned him down because she is dating her 'The Break-Up' co-star Vince Vaughn.

"When Matthew called, Jen told him she was flattered, but she didn't think it would be right to go out with Matt while she's dating Vince." Femalefirst quoted the source, as telling America's Star magazine.

The rejection has not had a dampening effect on Matthew's ardour, and he's busy plotting his next move to land the date.

"He doesn't give up when he has his eye on someone. He's figuring out his next move," the source added. (ANI)
