Great Wall Motors has rolled out 1 million Haval H6 SUVs from its assembly lines. Since its debut in 2011, the model has been the most popular SUV in China for 31 consecutive months, according to the Hebei-based automaker.

SUV sales have been rocketing in China despite an overall auto market slowdown. Statistics from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers show that 4.73 million SUVs were sold from January to October, a 46.1 percent surge year-on-year.
