China's diesel-powered vehicle sales in October dropped 3.8 percent on a yearly basis to 185,036 units, according to CBU-Autostats.

Sales of diesel-powered passenger vehicles were 6,689, down 5.44 percent. Diesel-powered light and heavy-duty commercial vehicle sales reached 144,557 and 33,790 units with a respective decline of 4.38 and 0.91 percent in the month.

In the first ten months of this year, the combined sales of diesel vehicles came up to 1,948,533 units, up 0.27 percent compared to the same period of last year.
