HONG KONG — The Expert Group on Hong Kong-Guangdong Financial Cooperation held its ninth meeting in Foshan city, South China's Guangdong province on Wednesday, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government said.

Discussions were held during the meeting on ways of deepening financial cooperation between the two sides, according to the news website of Hong Kong's government.

The expert group holds regular meetings every year for financial services departments and regulators to explore measures to further financial cooperation.
