More than 37 percent of the 1,604 interviewees who answered online questionnaires said they chose summer for overseas trips because it is the annual school vacation time for their children.

About 13 percent of those, who were aged above 57, chose summer to avail the special promotions of travel agencies.

The LY.com report showed nearly half of those surveyed had plans to travel in July. And 31 percent of them plan to travel this month, while 19 percent have no confirmed plans yet.
