In Boston Consulting Group's tenth annual global survey of the state of innovation, 79 percent of respondents ranked innovation as either the top-most priority or a top-three priority at their company, the highest percentage since the company began asking the question in 2005, when 66 percent said innovation was their top or among their three top priorities.

In BCG's top 50 list of most innovative companies in 2015, 29 companies were from the US, 11 from Europe, and 10 from Asia.

There were three companies from China: Tencent ranked 12th, and Huawei at 45th, while Lenovo at the 50th.
