BEIJING -- Chinese stocks opened higher on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.46 percent, to open at 4,633.10.
The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 16,247.39, up 0.91 percent.
The ChiNext Index, tracking China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, opened 1.05 percent higher at 3,580.08 points.
