4. Traditional Chinese medicine sector

Traditional Chinese medicine is another sector scarcely listed in Hong Kong and overseas, therefore stocks under the sector are expected to draw global attention once the Stock Connect is officially launched, said Securities Daily.

According to a research report by Bohai Securities, 29 out of 36 companies under the sector that have released the latest quarterly statement have reported positive year-on-year growth in revenue in third quarter, with 12 achieving a growth rate of more than 20 percent.

The institution is bullish on listed companies with TCM business such as Tasly Holding Group and Guangzhou Baiyunshan Pharmaceutical Co Ltd.
