Foxconn Technology Group, announced the establishment of a joint company with 21 Vianet Group Inc, the largest carrier-neutral Internet data center service provider in China, on Friday in Beijing.

The new company, Smart Time Technologies, will take advantage of the two parties' technical expertise to build "big data" centers in Tianjin, Shenzhen and Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, explore a new cloud service model and expand the business ventures overseas.

Foxconn, the world's largest electronics contractor manufacturer, will offer its facilities and supporting resources for the joint venture, while 21Vianet Group will give full play to its abilities in data center construction, operation and marketing.
