How small can a listed company be? Stellar Megaunion Corporation is a good example of a small company in China.
According to its annual report of 2013, the telecommunication service provider earned revenue of 10.97 million yuan last year with just seven staff.
Taking the price of 6.24 yuan per share before its suspension for reference, its market value came to 2.58 billion yuan with an issuance of 414 million shares.
With a similar estimated market value of 2.4 billion yuan, Henan Tongli Cement Co Ltd had 2,961 employees in 2013.
According to financial service provider iFinD, China has 25 listed companies with less than 25 employees.
