BYD, China's eye-catching new-energy vehicle maker, reported 553 million yuan profits.
However, it received a total of 677 million yuan government subsidy. The company got 309 million yuan from the Xi'an High-tech zone administration committee for manufacturing energy-saving cars in the city during a designated time period.
