China stocks open higher - Dec 28

BEIJING -- Chinese stocks opened slightly higher on Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.09 percent to open at 2,207.91.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 8,953.34, up 0.15 percent from the previous close.
