HONG KONG - The gold price in Hong Kong went down HK$300 to open at 14,770 per tael on Friday, according to the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society.
The price is equivalent to $1,598.12 a troy ounce, down $32.46 at the latest exchange rate of $1 against HK$7.758.
