On Nov 23, a conference on the construction of security communities was held in Beijing.

During the conference, 62 communities from across China were named as a "Security Community";19 organizations were named "Advanced Organization" and 45 individuals were declared as "Advanced" in the security community construction sector.

The construction of security communities aims to improve production safety, danger prevention and occupational health issues involving schools, villages and families.

At present there are 266 security communities across the country, covering 120 million people.
