Gold price opens higher in Hong Kong--Sept 9

HONG KONG - The gold price in Hong Kong went up HK$185 to open at HK$17,265 per tael on Sept 9, according to the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society.
The price is equivalent to $1,859.21 a troy ounce, up $19.92 at the latest exchange rate of $1 against hk$7.795.
